First thanks to Amit for this post

It is now simpler to download the youtube clip. You dont need any more software to install for downloading the videos from youtube. Just add the word "kiss" before URL of the clip to download. It goes to the site kissyoutube.com where they have provided the option of downloading the clip as FLV file.

For eg. if the youtube URL is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxxxx then, the new URL will be http://www.kissyoutube.com/watch?v=xxxxx

Also i would recommend the use of VLC player for viewing the media in your PC. No code, No plugin is needed. Amazing thing is, it can play all types of media files. No file converstion is required. It can even play the defected file ( a partial file). It can play till whatever it read. I think the concept of the VLC player is, it wont do a check sum error check before playing the file which the other players like windows media player does. So it playes all kinds of file (ie damaged or partial). You can download it from here

Last seat person: Mmmm

Now the bus door opens, the person in the last seat get down and walks with face masked with black kercheif.

So many software engineers waits before the company. They are shouting, dont enter, dont employ our BOSS in the company (they are worried that the company would reduce their leader also to a normal S/W engg)

Next seat guy was coding a lot and it seems he felt that somebody was sitting next to him (as many put papers and left the company, this guy is curious to know why he had joined this company?)

I heard the following conversation next to the table where i was taking coffee in my office canteen.

There was a manager and his reportee a project lead was discussing about the recruitment.

Manager: Hey, Still how many needs to be recruited to our team?
PL: I think we need 20 more
Manager: Twenty? What happened to the last week's interview?
PL: I think no body was thru
Manager: I think i had interviewd a person whom i declared as a cleared
PL: Whats the person name? Let me check
Manager: Chithra
PL: is it a guy or a girl?

The discussion continued...

Just for a record...It seems

When i came out of my office to have some afternoon walk, i happend to see NDTV. The thing which got me interest in seeing the TV at that time is they were splashing the news, Trichy boy does an operation, Trichy...Trichy like that. As i love the city, i watched the news.

It seems a class X student doesn an caesarean operation !!! His age is only 15. Wait. Dont exclaim that he had done a great record. Even my first reaction at the news is this. But after watcing it for two more minutes, i was shocked. He had done the operation just for creating a record. Moreover the hospital where he did the operation was run by his parents and both of them are doctors. Under their supervison, this guy had done it.

Adding to that, he and his proud (??) parents recorded it in a CD and showed this to Indian Medical Associations's chennai meeting today. Enna koduma sir ithu :O

Thanks that IMA had condemned it. I would say prison that doctor parents atleast for 3 months.

If he is really talented to do some operation at this age, first get him certified from known organisation (such as IMA) and allow him to do the operation. Is it a cinema theatre or operation theatre? to allow everybody inside. Is it really a certification is there for this?

Actual place of the operation is Manapparai (outskirts of trichy, around 30 kms from the zero point). Needless to say, it is a village. Ok, leave out the village people, Do we the people in common, know what is happening inside the operation theatre and who is opreating? do we need to enquire all these things before getting admitted to a hospital. At the time of emergency, where is the time to enquire about all these things?

Dear doctors (and whoever in the service industry),

First ensure the safety of the conusmers/customers. When you work, mean it. It is a service. It is a not a buisness nor it is place to do a record.

Dasavatharam - The next expected biggie

Ok now thalaivar's SIVAJI - THE BOSS is declared blockbuster at the box office. thatstamil.com says sivaji collected a whooping Rs. 140 crores so far !!!! To my knowledge apart from bollywood films, no other language films have crossed the Rs.100 crores mark in sales. If sivaji manages to collect somewhere around Rs. 185 crores ( just 45 crores more ;)...) then it would be the first indian movie to collect Rs. 100 crores profit (since some sources earlier pointed out that production cost of sivaji comes around Rs. 60 crores to Rs. 85 crores).

So many reviews for this movie, some says good, some liked it, some are hating it and some are evening bashing rajini :O. Whatever it is theatre owners, distributors and producers are making money and they are happy with it. Public is happy in those 3 hours. Thats all it. Thats the thalaivar's majic.

Ok now the Indian cinema world is looking out to the next biggie. The next BOSS is kamalahassan. He is taking ten avatars in the movie. And it is supposed to be in the lines of Micheal Madana Kama Rajan, Avvai Shanmughi. So we can expect another three hours of great entertainment. Hope the people will start building hypes to this movie soon and we hope it lives up to the expectation. One question to Kamal. Why? Ethukkaga? why did you choose himesh for this movie which is going to be in the history? But lets hope that kamal has taken control over him.

Lets all wait till this deepavali for this mega movie to hit the box office. Lets cheer this team as well as we did for Sivaji and give equal hype :)

Sivaji - The BOSS

What a style, What a charishma, What a power - Thalaivar Thalaivar thaan... I Must say Rajini - The BOSS.

ARR pinnittar. BGM chance less. Multiplying thalaivar's image by 100 or i would say 1000.

Kudos to manish malhotra, thottatharani, shriya, nayan, vivek, kv anand and the editor.

But, expected more from shankar and sujatha. Super-o super-nu solla vaikkama, super-nu solla vaichu irukanga. That too i can say only because of rajini.

Rajini have lived up to the expectation, so as ARR and AVM too.

But shankar have not lived up to the hype. Mudhalvan script panna shankar-a ithu? Thalaivar prammathama piruchu eduthiruppare... Y shankar? Y to our thalaivar alone.

A special special kudos to Makeup man of rajini(here kudos goes to shankar who took extreme care in the makeup of rajini). With this kind of rajini in the screen, Thalaiva... we need 3 more films from you atleast....

Alone...?

Time: 11.30pm
Went to lock my vehicle and saw a dog which was left alone in the cold (yes bangalore is getting cold these days esp at the night). It was sleeping calmly in the sand area near by. Some vehicle came near by, soon it got woke up. It roamed here and there and then came back to its place and soon it started sleeping again.

We humans have got the mouth to speak and have got a great invention called mobile with us. Inspite of all these things we are having the feel of being alone and feeling bad about it. Feeling about frienship, feeling about love if something went against our way.

What these dogs will do? they are alone, they cant even speak. They are too dependent on humans. Where will they get the water to drink? At least in villages, people will help, but in a city that too like bangalore, where people are not caring about their neighbours, who is going to care about those dogs?

Finally my mom consoled me. Some one is there. Dont worry. We both gave biscuits to it and went for sleeping.

Yeah some one is there.

மரத்தை வைத்தவன் தண்ணீர் ஊற்றுவான்

மனசை பார்த்துதான் வாழ்வை மாற்றுவான்

Almighty should take care of those dogs.

Pakkatthu seat-ula...Take it easy policy

This happened some time back in Trichy.

I wanted to travel to a place which is in the outskirts of the city. I went to bus stand and as it was a distance place, not many buses are there. There were a lot of people waiting for the bus.

The bus came and i boarded on to it, but i am not able to find a seat. It was so crowdy inside the bus. The bus started and it has come to the border of the city. The pace of the bus moving looked like it may take another 30 minutes to the destination and i desperately wanted a seat.

Next stop came, the couple who are sitting next to me got down. Before i got in that seat, a young woman sat on that. As one more seat is free, i rushed to that before somebody could grab it.

Immediately all the eyes were on me !!! Antha ponnu vera enna oru koba look kodutha, enakku 2 nimisham enna nadakuthunnu onnum puriyalai. Why suddenly everybody should look at me at the same time? and what crime did i do to this girl and why she is muraichifying at me? I was confused at that point of time.

Rendu nimisham think pannathukku apparamthaan therinjithu, ithu Trichy, Tamilnadu and not Bangalore !!!

As i got used to sit aside with girls in Bangalore buses, particularly company buses which i travel most, enakku thappa padalai. But here, this was taken as great sin committed.

Innoru kodumai ennana, immediately i got out of the seat and the girl and others took it like i purposefully sat beside her and got out. Antha mathiri oru parvai i got it from those guys and people.

Che, enna koduma sir ithu !!!

P.S: I am adding this after the 7th comment here. Friends etho maranthu poi antha ponnu pakkathula utkandhuttean forgetting the Tamilnadu culture as i have left the travel by bus in Trichy for a long long time. Mistake is on my side only but the point here is people konjamavathu maranum, avangala solliyum thappu illai, all because of road side romeos who is creating the havoc

Nostalgia

had nostalgia for home when i went to school first time,
had nostalgia for class X school and friends when i changed the school at class XI,
had nostalgia for class XII school and friends when i went to college
had nostalgia for home when i roamed for job
had nostalgia for college and friends when i was in the job
had nostalgia for my country, city when i was in onsite
had nostalgia for my sister when she went abroad
had nostalgia for my old company and friends when i changed the job

Some are really sweet and Some are really sick !!!
Some remind happiness and Some remind bitterness.

Me getting nostalgic even though am busy.

I want to forget those memories which are sick and bitter and to move on but elders told "Pazhasa enaikkume marakka koodathu." So what to do?

Best way i found is to do

1. Put yourself in others shoe and think positive thing about those who/which caused bitterness to you
2. Reduce the expectation and your reaction. You will become GOLD and BOLD.
3. Take it easy. ..."free-a vidu free-a vidu free-a vidu maame...." :)..yes athey thaan
